YAKUSOKU OPPORTUNITY CLUB - Monthly Giving Program

Named for the Japanese word for "a promise," the "Yakusoku" (約束) Club asks individuals to make an ongoing monthly contribution that would afford ETHS students the opportunity to travel to Japan as part of our exchange program with Kokusai Joho High School. At any of the below levels, regular giving of this kind would make possible the participation of a number of students whose economic circumstances might normally keep them from even applying for such a trip.
Could you give an amount that is less than your weekly coffee? ($5/month)
What about the cost of a movie night? ($10/month)
With a drink and popcorn? ($15/month)
Or less than the price of a restaurant dinner for two? ($20/month)
If 10 people gave $10 per month for 2 years, that would pay the cost of a whole trip for one student, and ANY donation at ANY level on this monthly plan could reduce greatly the expense for multiple students who are in need.
International travel is a gateway to a brighter future for our children, shaping them as citizens and leaders - your contribution helps to continue our efforts to make sure that all ETHS students have the opportunity for the life-changing experiences that a trip of this kind can offer.
